About Cedar Hollow Volunteer Fire Department
Covering 85 square miles of eastern Taney County, on call around the clock.
How we started
Cedar Hollow Volunteer Fire Department was formed in 1974 and has been staffed by volunteers from this community ever since.
How we are funded
Cedar Hollow Volunteer Fire Department is a volunteer department. Equipment, insurance and running costs are paid for out of what the department raises — donations, grants and fundraising — rather than out of anybody's wages.
Who we work with
Rural fire response is a shared effort. Cedar Hollow Volunteer Fire Department turns out alongside neighbouring departments, which means the equipment you help pay for is used well beyond one boundary.
